Vietnam Work Permit or the Confirmation of Exemption from Work Permit is a permit or confirmation issued by the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (now the Department of Home Affairs) of provinces or cities, or by the Employment Department under the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (now the Ministry of Home Affairs), allowing foreign workers to work for employers headquartered in those localities.
