Work Permit Reissuance

Reissuance of Work Permits is applicable in the following cases:

1. The valid work permit is lost.

2. The valid work permit is damaged.

3. Changes to full name, nationality, passport number, or work location stated in the valid work permit.

Required documents for work permit reissuance application:

1. A written request for work permit reissuance from the employer, using the prescribed form.

2. Two color photos (size 4 cm x 6 cm, white background, front-facing, no headwear, no colored glasses); photos must be taken within 6 months prior to the submission date.

3. The valid work permit previously issued:
   a) If the permit is lost, a confirmation from the local police where the foreign national resides or from a competent authority of the foreign country must be provided, in accordance with legal regulations.
   b) If changes are made to the information on the permit, supporting documents must be submitted.

4. A written approval of the demand for employing foreign workers, except for cases where such approval is not required.

Work Permit Reissuance Process

Within 3 working days from the date of receiving a complete application, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs or the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs shall issue the reissued work permit.
In case of rejection, a written response with the reason must be provided.

Validity of the Reissued Work Permit

The validity of the reissued work permit will be equal to the original permit’s validity minus the duration the foreign worker has already worked, calculated up to the date of the reissuance request.
